1.
Launch the iView
wizard by choosing New ® iView from the
context menu of the folder of your choice. For more information, see
Launching the iView
Wizard and General Information.
2. In the Application Technology page of the wizard, select Web Dynpro ABAP application - Create an iView from a Web Dynpro ABAP application.
This page is the single entry point for all Web Dynpro iViews. Choose Next.
3. In Step1 of the wizard, enter values for the iView name and ID, an iView ID prefix, if required, select a master language, if other than the default, and add a description, if desired. Choose Next to open Step 2 of the wizard.
4. In Step 2 of the wizard, enter the following values in the relevant fields and select the Web Dynpro Client:
¡ The System dropdown list contains a list of all the system aliases available to the portal. Choose the alias that represents the relevant ABAP back-end system.

Be aware that the list of system aliases is not filtered; both portal and ABAP back-end systems are represented here. You must, therefore, know the required system alias.
¡ Enter the relevant namespace (set to sap)
¡ Enter the required application name.
¡ Select one of the following Web Dynpro clients:
■ Plain HTML
■ Windows Client
■ Java Client
¡ Enter the configuration name.
5. Choose Next to open the Summary page that displays the iView information that you configured.
Before choosing Finish, you can select the Open for editing when wizard completes checkbox, which allows you to edit properties of the new iView.
