Configuration Profile
A material can be configured only if it has at least one configuration profile. You can use the modeling environment for Variant Configuration to create a configuration profile for the material.
You can use the context menus in the model tree and the detailed view to edit the configuration profile and the objects below it.
In the context menu for the configuration profile, you can
· Launch the wizard for creating a table constraint for the configuration profile
· Create constraint nets and procedures or assign existing ones
· Create an interface design
The object dependency and interface design assigned to the configuration profile are displayed below it.
You can create and edit characteristic groups for the interface design.
The detailed view contains:

When you create a new interface design, the existing design (if any) is removed from the configuration profile. See also Interface Design - Overview. |
