The Change of Partner (CHOP) change process is a technical process that comprises the following change processes:

You execute the change process at item level, which means the changes apply only to individual contract items. This process is created as a sub-change process and supports the entry of split quantities. You can execute this change process manually only by choosing Actions; you cannot execute this change process as an option.

If you execute the change process at item level, you can change all business partners, with the exception of the sold-to party (lessee). If you want to change the sold-to party (lessee), you execute the process LCOO at header level. A BRF rule defined in the standard system ensures that the change process CHOP is executed at item level.
