Working with Files 
You use this procedure to add or remove files to an Upgrade Unit. You can also indicate properties of the files. The properties you indicate enable the upgrade to be successfully deployed onto mobile clients.
You have done one of the following:
· Chosen to create an Upgrade Unit and have completed specifying the properties of the Upgrade Unit
· Loaded an existing Upgrade Unit
· Opened an existing Upgrade Script
From the Upgrade Editor screen:
...
1. Select the Files tab.
The File Selection window appears. If this window is not visible by default then select right arrow button.
2. Perform the task required as described below.
Adding Files
...
1. From the file list, choose the required node and navigate to the specific file.
2. Specify the Target path where the selected file must be copied on the mobile client.
3. Set the properties of the file.
4. Choose Add File.
The selected file appears in the Selected Files list on the right.

If you add a file that needs to be invoked through a command, you must add the appropriate command in the Commands tab. For more information, see Working with Commands.
Setting Properties of a File
...
1. Choose the button available in the Properties column.
The File Properties window appears.
2. Indicate the properties as described below.
¡ The language attribute is relevant only for Standard Units created by SAP. This must be ignored.
¡ If you want to delete the selected file on the mobile client, check the appropriate box. In this case you have to also add the file to Selected Files list.

The information on the path of the selected file is added to the Mobile Upgrade Package and not the file itself.
¡ If you want to register the selected file after extraction on the mobile client, check the corresponding box.

You perform this step for COM components and registry files. For example, files with .ocx, .dll and .reg extensions.
3. Choose OK.
Removing Files
...
1. From the files displayed in the Selected Files list, choose the row displaying the file you want to remove.
2. Choose Remove File.
The Upgrade Unit now contains files. You can proceed to include folders and commands in the Upgrade Unit.
