Mobile Application Studio Setup 

Purpose

This process describes how the Mobile Application Studio (MAS) is setup. Once set up, the tool can be used to customize CRM mobile client applications.

Prerequisites

You have:

·        Defined a system landscape and set up development workstations to customize a mobile client application.

·        Installed the Mobile Application Repository (MAR) on the Mobile Repository Server (MRS).

·        Installed the Mobile Application Studio on all development workstations.

Process Flow

       1.      The system administrator configures the MRS to enable services provided by the MAR. This includes activities such as adding a namespace, creating users for the MAR. For more information, see Mobile Repository Server Configuration.

       2.      The application developer configures MAS on all development workstations. This includes setting up options for utilizing internal services and tools based on requirements. For more information, see Configuring the Mobile Application Studio, Toolbar Customization and Specifying Fonts.
