Configuring the Mobile
Application Studio 
You use this procedure to set or change the options and to specify parameters required for using the Mobile ApplicationStudio (MAS).

1. Choose Tools ® MAS Options.
The MAS Options window appears. The available options appear in the left part of the window.
2. Select an option based on your requirement and specify the corresponding details. The requirement for configuring each option is explained in the table below.

Specify location of the design time templates, if the location is different from the default location. |
UI Designers Settings |
Select or deselect various parts of the mobile client application for which the baseline objects need to be generated. For example, if you deselect Business Logic, then the related new and modified objects in the baseline cannot be generated through Build ® Generate Changes; only such objects in an unreleased change list can only be generated. |
Pre-Build Settings |
Specify the colors in which the differences between two object versions must be displayed in a difference viewer. In addition, specify a difference viewer in which system has to display differences between two versions. |
Difference Viewer Settings |
Specify location of the application and working directory, if the location is different from the default location. In addition, you can specify the user ID and password that need to be used for debugging the application. |
Debug Settings |
Change the type of validation that system has to enforce on BDocs. |
BDOC Validation |
Specify whether development objects should be displayed by name or caption in the Solution Explorer. |
Solution Explorer Settings |
Define the memory cache size of the Mobile Application Repository (MAR). |
System Parameters |
Define the usage of change lists and branches. |

Establish a connection with CRM Server to fetch BDocs from BDoc repository. |

Specify a font in which the user interface text and the text you enter in Code Designer must appear. In addition, set an active language for the development objects. |

3. Choose Apply, then choose OK.
Result
You have configured MAS according to your requirements. Perform the same procedure, if changing any of the above options is required during the customization process.
