Use

Business partners use transactions in the Web shop to carry out the order process. They can do the following:

·        Create new transactions

·        Search for and display existing transactions with status

·        Process transactions

Features

Select transaction type

Business partners can search for and display the following transaction types:

·        Structure linkQuotations

·        Structure linkInquiries

·        Orders

·        Order templates

·        Structure linkBackorders

You can display, change, and cancel backorders. Orders can be overdue because items are unavailable or delivery has failed.

·        Recall orders

You create recall orders to return recalled products. In the order you enter the reference to the service recall. For more information, see Structure linkService Recall Orders.

·        Contracts

·        Billing Documents

The customer can display invoices, credit memos, and debit memos. You determine which billing types are available in the transaction search in Customizing. n Customizing for Customer Relationship Management choose E-Commerce ® Basic Settings for E-Commerce ® Assign Billing Types.

In Customizing you can set up business partner hierarchy functionality for use in the Web shop. You use business hierarchies to enable business partners to carry out specific activities on behalf of other business partners subordinate to them in the hierarchy. For example, you can enable the top business partner in a hierarchy to view the orders of all other business partners in the hierarchy. You can create the hierarchies for business partners within one company or across several companies. You set up business partner hierarchies in Customizing in your SAP CRM system. In Customizing for Customer Relationship Management choose E-Commerce ® Basic Settings for E-Commerce ® Define Business Partner Hierarchy.

Display list of selected transactions

The system displays a list of corresponding transactions with status. Business partners can call up the detail view of a selected transaction.

Process transaction items

Here, business partners can:

·        Create a new transaction

·        Copy selected items in the current transaction

·        Change or cancel undelivered items from open purchase orders or backorders.

·        Delete individual items from transactions

Orders can be extremely large with thousands of items. A customer may only want to view particular items in an order. Or they may want to enable multiple processing of an order by various employees at one time. You can set your Web shop up to deal with large documents to enable multiple processing and filtering of item display. For more information see Large Document Display.

Display item detail

Business partners can call up a detail screen for each transaction item. In this screen, the following information is displayed:

·        Product details

·        Status information on the product

·        Configuration information

You can display a breakdown of the prices for all characteristics in the product configuration in the Web shop configuration screen. You can expand or collapse the characteristic list. You can also select specific characteristics from the product configuration to be displayed in the product item details in the shopping basket and order confirmation screens. You enable the specific characteristic display in Extended Configuration Management (XCM) for your Web shop. For more information, see the configuration documentation in SAP Solution Manager.

·        Delivery information

·        Date of goods issue

·        Package number, if the purchase order is in the process of delivery. Business partners can use the package number to find out details about the delivery (see Structure linkSetting Up Shipping Status Tracking).
