Model a Business Component
In the generated application, a business component appears as a menu and its assigned tile sets as its options. To model a business component, you specify which menu options you want it to contain and the order in which those options appear.
A second aspect of modeling a business component requires you to specify data transfer between the screens that appear when the menu options are selected. To implement this, you must define business anchors. The work is performed in the Anchor Modeler.
You have:
· Modeled tile sets that you want to include in the business component
· Identified the names of tile sets that you want to group in the business component
1. Create a business component.
2. Design the business component layout.
3. If you want to relate information displayed in different tile sets, create an anchor hierarchy for a business component.
4. If you want to define the behavior of a business component, write scripts. For more information, see Behavior Definition.
You have created a top-level menu containing all the necessary options. You can include the modeled business components in required applications.
