Procedure documentation Creating a Business Component Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You create one business component for each top-level menu your application requires. A business component groups its assigned tile sets as options in the menu. The functions the business component offers are determined by the tile sets assigned.

Prerequisites

You have switched to the required change list.

Procedure

       1.      In the Solution Explorer, click on the Business Components with the secondary mouse button and choose New.

The Add Object dialog box appears.

Note

If you have not switched to the required change list, the system prompts you to create a new change list or change to an existing change list.

       2.      In the Name field, replace the default name with a more appropriate one.

       3.      Choose Open.

The business component appears in the Business Component Designer area of the screen and in the Solution Explorer.

Result

You have created an empty business component. You can continue with designing the business component layout.
