Automatic Network Detection 

Use

When you plug the mobile client to the network and invoke ConnTrans, this function allows ConnTrans to automatically detect the network connection. In addition, ConnTrans displays the status of the network connection through an animated icon that indicates:

·        The availability of the network

·        The usage of the network during the different stages of data synchronization. For more information, see ConnTrans Icon States.

Integration

After ConnTrans detects the network, it automatically starts the data synchronization if automatic synchronization is enabled. In addition, in case of a dial-up connection, if the network connection fails during data synchronization, ConnTrans triggers windows to redial and establish the connection. Features

·        Detects both the LAN and dial-up connections

·        Uses the connection established by the external applications instead of initiating a dial-up connection

·        Uses the existing valid dial-up connection such as MSA_SERVER
