Use

This function automatically redials to establish the network connection if the network connection fails during data synchronization. However, the redial is not performed by ConnTrans.  Instead, ConnTrans triggers windows to redial and establish the network connection.

Automatic redial is enabled by default and is performed only if you have established a dial-up connection. However, you can disable automatic redial by modifying the properties of the dial-up connection. For more information, see Modifying the Properties of a Dial-Up Connection.

Integration

You must enable automatic redial to schedule the execution of ConnTrans. For more information, see Scheduling the Execution of ConnTrans.

Prerequisites

You have:

·        Installed Dial-up networking on the mobile client

·        Configured a valid dial-up connection, such as MSA_SERVER on the mobile client

·        Selected the Redial if line is dropped option in the dial-up connection properties dialog box. For more information, see Modifying the Properties of a Dial-Up Connection.

If you manually disconnect the network connection, automatic redial is not performed.
