In addition, you can choose Browse to locate the ConnTrans.exe file. However, you must add the command line options /auto /forceclose. This ensures:

·         ConnTrans automatically starts data synchronization when it is invoked.

·         ConnTrans automatically terminates irrespective of the success or failure of the data synchronization process.

   11.      Choose the Settings tab.

   12.      To stop the execution of ConnTrans before the next instance is invoked, under Scheduled Task Completed, select Stop the task if it runs for: and enter the required time duration.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

The time duration specified in this field must be less than the actual duration of a particular instance of ConnTrans. For example, you schedule to execute ConnTrans everyday (24 hours). To ensure that a particular instance of ConnTrans stops before the next instance is invoked, you must select this option and specify a time duration, such as 23 hours and 58 minutes.

Result

You have created a scheduled task to execute ConnTrans. However, when you create a scheduled task, the minimum time interval between two executions is one day. You can further reduce the time interval to hours or minutes within a day. For more information, see Modifying the Properties of a Scheduled Task.
