The Landscape area consists of the following windows:
Window |
Description |
Landscape: Alert |
Used to monitor TREX. Checks are performed periodically and in the event of errors, the system administrator is informed by e-mail. For more information, see TREX Alert Server. |
Landscape: Configuration |
Enables the configuration of a distributed TREX system. For more information, see the SAP NetWeaver 2004s Search and Classification (TREX) Multiple Hosts installation guide. The installation guide is located on the SAP Service Marketplace at service.sap.com/installNW2004s. |
Landscape: Reorg |
Allows reorganization of indexes. For more information, see Reorganization of the TREX System Landscape. |
Landscape: Tree |
Depicts the content of the topology.ini configuration file as a tree structure. The configuration file is managed by the name server. It contains technical information about the TREX servers, indexes, and queues.
Only make changes here if those changes are specified in the TREX documentation. |
Landscape: Ini |
Displays the TREX configuration files. You can display the content of the configuration files and change it if necessary.
Changing configuration files directly requires expert knowledge of the TREX architecture and TREX-internal processes. Only make direct changes to the configuration files if those changes are described in the TREX documentation. |
Landscape: Hosts |
Displays host-related information. It shows the installation directory, the operating system platform, and the installed TREX release. |
Landscape: Services |
Displays server-related information, for example, the load on the TREX servers. You can stop and start the TREX servers here. |
Landscape: Trace |
Displays the trace files of the TREX servers. By default, the trace files contain all error messages that the TREX servers output. You can display the content of a trace file by double-clicking it and delete trace files that you no longer need. |
Landscape: Perf. Trace |
Allows you to execute and save a performance trace. |
Landscape: RFC |
Allows you to configure the RFC connection to an SAP system. In addition, you can check the RFC connection status here. |
