The Demand Data Foundation (DDF) module in SAP Customer Activity Repository uses the inbound interfaces to receive data from other systems via Remote Function Calls.
You have ensured that DDF is configured.
You have made the load balancing settings in the Configure Load Balancing
function (see Configure Load Balancing).
DDF provides the following inbound interfaces:
Master Data
Time Series
Offers
DDF receives the data via RFC. By default, the data is first saved in the staging tables. From there you transfer it to the production tables.
When the system is running demand modeling or forecasting services at the same time that it is importing the data, it saves the data in the staging tables for the following message types:
Product
Location
Product hierarchy
Location hierarchy
Product location
Inventory
Offer
Sales
Store Traffic
Generic
Syndicated
Note
You can choose to bypass the staging tables in Customizing under
. In this case, the imported data is saved directly in the production tables. You can review erroneous records in the Monitor Imports
function.
