The Demand Data Foundation (DDF) module in SAP Customer Activity Repository integrates with external systems to receive or send information about master data and transaction data (time series).

Integration

DDF can receive data from and send data to an SAP ERP system or a legacy system. Note that DDF can receive data from more than one system.

Integration with SAP ERP System

The SAP ERP system sends information to DDF using the data replication framework (transaction DRFOUT). For more information, see the following sources:

Integration with Legacy System

You can use this option when your system of record is not an SAP ERP application.
