Editing the Rules Group Box

You define the rules for individual changes to standard conditions in the Rules group box on the Set of Rules tab page.

You can make the following settings:

You can create a rule in the Condition Set of Rules for each permitted replacement category. If you chose the replacement category Selective Replacement, you must create at least one rule with a validity period.
To do so, choose the rule category in the field under the permitted replacement categories and choose Create Rule.
You can now create a rule for the chosen rule category in the Rules for Condition Set of Rules table.
- Enter at least one rule validity date.
- Choose (Field Characteristics).
  The Edit Set of Rules screen appears.
On the Edit Rules screen, you can change the properties of individual fields. Double-click the symbol in front of the field to be edited.
The Field Properties screen appears.
On the Change Field Properties screen, you can define default values, value restrictions, and settings for field modification.

You have defined the rules for the individual change to standard conditions for a contract.
