Function documentationExecution of Effective Cash Pooling

You can use this function to execute effective cash pooling for a single master contract.

Prerequisites

The prerequisites named under Effective Cash Pooling have been met.

Activities

  1. To execute a single run for Effective Cash Pooling, go to the SAP Easy Access screen and choose Start of the navigation path Master Contract Management Next navigation step Effective Cash Pooling Next navigation step Execute Effective Cash Pooling End of the navigation path.

  2. In the Technical Properties group box, specify whether you want to start the single run as a simulation or an update run.

  3. Choose an execution time.

The execution time is the symbolic time that the system uses to calculate the next execution date for effective cash pooling. The system uses the date of end-of-day processing from the previous day. This calculation is only made for agreements for which the run has been executed.

The value date balances and master data information are selected using the processing date of end-of-day processing.

  4. In the Master Contract group box, specify the identification of the master contract for which you want to execute effective cash pooling.

  5. Choose Execute. The system displays a list of the cash pooling agreements in the master contract with the main and participant processing group (if these were assigned to the corresponding contract), the next and last due dates, and the next and last execution times.

Unlike mass processing, you can execute effective cash pooling in a single run even if the agreement is not due.

  6. Choose Execute for the relevant agreement.

    Note Note

You can display the results after you have run effective cash pooling for an agreement. Choose Monitor With Individual Run Results (Monitor With Individual Run Results)

For more information, see Display of Cash Pooling Runs.

    End of the note.
