Note
When you change the account holder for a loan account and a clearing account, you need to change the account holder of the loan account first if the following prerequisites applies:
The loan account and the clearing account are two physically separate accounts.
The loan account and the clearing account must have the same account holder because of the settings in the Product Configurator (you have added feature attribute Same Account Holder
to the attribute hierarchy under the clearing account).
If you change the account holder of the clearing account first, the system locks the loan account first. This is because the account holder of the clearing account is defined in the master data of the assigned loan account. The system removes this lock once you have specified the same account holder for the loan account as you did for the clearing account.
The account model maps the relationships between the accounts used for loans and their account holders. If you change the account holder of a loan or clearing account, this affects the account holders of the other accounts. You must take account of the following effects, depending on the relationships existing in the account model:
The loan account and the assigned clearing account are physically the same account: If you change the account holder of the loan account, the system first automatically adjusts the account holder of the clearing account (and vice versa) and then the account holder of the contract account.
The loan account and the assigned clearing account are physically two different accounts and the accounts must have the same account holder (based on their settings in the Product Configurator)
When you change the account holder of a loan account and a clearing account, always change the account holder of the loan account first. If you change the account holder of the clearing account first, the system initially locks the loan account because the account holder of the clearing account is stored in the master data of the assigned loan account. The system removes this lock as soon as you specify the same account holder for the loan account as for the clearing account.
The loan account and the assigned clearing account are physically two different accounts and the accounts can have different account holders depending on their settings in the Product Configurator: The effects differ, according to the following conditions:
The contract account is assigned to a loan account:
The new account holder of the loan account adopts the existing clearing account.
The new account holder of the loan account changes the clearing account.
The contract account is assigned to multiple loan accounts:
For more information about the account model, see Account Model (Loans).
You have selected a loan product in the contract account and want to change the account holder of the loan account.
The prerequisites described under Account Holder Change must be met and the settings listed must be made.
