Creating SAP Application iViews 

Use

You can integrate the following SAP applications in SAP Enterprise Portal as an iView:

·        SAP transactions

·        Business Server Page applications

·        BW reports (BEx Web Application starting with Release 3.x)

·        Crystal Enterprise reports

·        Internet Application Components (IACs)

·        MiniApps

There are appropriate iView templates available in the Portal Content Studio for integrating the individual SAP applications.

Prerequisites

You integrated an appropriate SAP System in the portal system landscape and defined a system alias.

Procedure

       1.      Start the iView Wizard and create a new iView based on an iView template. For more information see Launching the iView Wizard and General Information.

       2.      Select the required iView template (for example, SAP Transaction iView).

       3.      Define the basic iView settings by providing entries for the fields in the General Settings step.

       4.      Follow the instructions given for the steps, choose Finish, select the option Open for editing when wizard completes and enter the required property values.

The properties that need to be maintained depend on the iView template that was selected:

Creating SAP Transaction iViews

Creating BSP Application iViews

Creating BEx Web Application iViews

Creating Crystal Report iViews

Creating IAC iViews

Creating MiniApp iViews
