Planning Performed by Sales
Employees
In the example scenario for sales planning, sales employees perform their own operational planning. A sales employee can proceed in the same way as the managers when planning sales targets (see Sales Target Planning). The planning folder of relevance to sales employees is called Sales Employees.
Alternatively, planning can be performed in the Web Browser. This procedure lends itself particularly well for sales employees since they only need to perform their planning tasks occasionally. This alternative way of planning in Web Browser is described below.
· The sales targets have been planned (see Sales Target Planning).
· The planning coordinator has determined the URL for planning (see Settings for Calling Up Planning) and sent to the sales employees.

1. Call up the planning screen using the link sent to you.
2. Choose the planning area Sales Planning.
3. Choose the planning folder Sales Employees.
In the left screen area, your worklist is displayed. From this worklist, you can call up the input templates for your planning. How your worklist is defined is determined by the hierarchies assigned in Customizing and by your user settings in the variables for the worklist (see Structuring the Worklist by Responsibilities).
4. Enter your plan data. You can call up the different planning layouts from the tab pages.
5. Save your data.
Your plan data for the sales organization is posted in SAP BW. As a result of automatic bottom-up planning, the data is visible at the higher organizational levels.
