Configuring a Composite
Application
In the IT process Configuring a Composite Application, you configure the individual elements and aspects of your composite application.

1. Add missing callable objects (EP)
You combine, where appropriate, further callable objects that have become necessary due to a process change or a logic adaptation.

You personalize the collaborative process by consolidating process roles.
3. Configure process authorizations (EP)
You define users assigned to each process role.
4. Configure services (DI)
You configure the external, entity, and application services.
5. Configure WD components (DI)
You modify or enhance the Web Dynpro components.
6. Add to portal / workcenter roles and pages (EP)
You bind the process UIs into the portal or work center pages, and if necessary assign appropriate authorizations for viewing them.
You have configured your composite application and thus completed it. The composite application can now be used.
If change requirements occur at a later time, you can again adapt the composite application in another process step.
