Evaluation of a participant by an instructor according to predefined appraisal criteria.

The instructor of a company training event evaluates participants using predefined appraisal criteria, such as knowledge of the subject matter, team skills, or active participation.
The instructor awards points for each criterion and adds a note if required. For example, knowledge of the subject matter: 3 points. Note: The participant has one year's experience and shows good aptitude for the subject.
Use
Companies that engage and invest in training and development of their employees naturally expect their efforts to be efficient and effective. In addition, it may be useful to be informed about the kind of target groups that attend a particular training event. A participant appraisal can be used to determine the characteristics of such a group. Training Management contains such a form of appraisal.
