Creating a Training Provider

Use

This function lets you create two types of training provider:

external training providers, such as, object types company, customer

internal training providers, such as, object type organizational unit

Training providers are assigned to course types. You can store billing and activity allocation data for internal training providers (organizational units) such as cost center assignment or the Billing/Allocation Info infotype.

Prerequisites

You must define the object types that you want to use as training provider types in Customizing, under Training and Event Management ® SAP Learning Solution ® Training Management ® Course Preparation ® Training Provider ® Specify Training Provider Types.

Procedure

On the SAP Easy Access screen, in the SAP Menu choose Human Resources ® SAP Learning Solution ® Settings ® Current Settings ® Training Provider ® Create. A dialog box appears displaying the training provider types you use.

In the dialog box, select an object type for the new training provider.

. You access directly the initial screen or data screen of the training provider type you selected.

Enter data as required.

Result

You have created a training provider and can assign him or her to course types.
