Access Authorization – Time-Independent
Course
You can revoke a learner’s access authorization to a time-independent course (such as WBT or online test), for example, if there is a newer version of the course available or if there are technical problems with the course. When you do so, the version of the time-independent course is no longer available to the learner in the Learning Portal.
You have created a time-independent course with the delivery method Web-based Training. A participant has registered to take the course.
The system provides the most recent version of the course stored in the course content static infotype (5009) at the time of booking. You can check the version number in the infotype.
The course author updates the content of the course and makes the new version available in the course catalog.
If you want the learner to access the most recent version of the course in the Learnng Portal, you must revoke the learner’s authorization to access the older version and then book the learner for the new version of the course.
