Defining Competitor Differences
Use
You define differences between prices at your location and its competitors to enable the
Two-Dimensional Price Maintenance Tool to propose prices that include a fixed offset between your prices and those of your competitors.You can maintain differences at a general location level or for each material sold at your location.
Prerequisites
One or more competitor locations must have been assigned to your business location at the business type level. For more information, see
Assigning Competitor Locations to Business Locations.Procedure
The Competitor: Change screen appears.
The competitor locations assigned to the cluster are displayed in the Competitor table. If any differences have been defined, these are displayed in the Rate column.
The Competitor differences (material) screen appears.
A message confirms that your entries have been saved.
