Use

You assign competitor locations to your own business location to:

Prerequisites

Master records must already have been created for the competitor locations. For more information, see Creating a Business Location Master Record.

Procedure

  1. Choose Logistics ® Sales and Distribution ® Service Station Retailing ® Master data ® Location ® Change.

The Change Business Location: Initial Screen appears.
  1. Enter the Location ID and the relevant Business type.

Note

You link competitors to locations at the business type level. This allows you to assign different competitors for different business types. For example, you could assign a car wash facility located near to your service station as a competitor in car wash business, and a nearby service station as a competitor in the fuels business.
  1. Choose Goto ® Location data ® Competitors.

    2. The Change Business Location: Competitors screen appears.

  2. Enter the ID of the competitor location in the Location ID field of the Competitor listing.
