Use
You use dip readings received from business locations to determine the current level of bulk fuel stocks held at those locations. If there is a difference between the stock level received and the relative stock level, which the system determines from goods movements to and from the storage location, you can save a stock adjustment to correct current stock levels in
Inventory Management.

The Fuels stock control: Inventory maintenance screen appears.
An overview of dip readings that were different from the relative stock level at the time that they were received appears. You can display:
Deviation = 100 * (difference / tolerance quantity).
The tolerance quantity is calculated as defined in the method that you specify in the Base qty. calc. field of the processing profile.
The Fuels stock control: Maintenance screen appears. The difference quantity is displayed for each material. This is the proposed value for stock adjustment. You can change the value.
The Fuels stock control: Inventory maintenance screen appears, displaying the values calculated after the sales adjustment.
