 Maintain Action Points Without iPPE

Use

You use this procedure for the automated Action Handler without iPPE .

Prerequisites

You are using the standard Customizing settings or have entered the following information in the process step Maintain Settings for Action Handler (transaction /N/SAPAPO/AHC1): actions , functions, parameters

Create Action Points

There are two ways in which you can create new action points :

  • In transaction AHTGL01 ( Maintain Actions and Parameters ), choose the pushbutton Definition of Action Points .

  • Choose transaction AHTGL02 Maintain Action Points .

Specify the key, the description and the action point type, enter the information which is necessary for error handling, and save the data.

Assign and Paramaterize Actions for Action Points

  1. In the SAP Easy Access Menu, choose Start of the navigation path Production Planning Next navigation step Manufacturing Execution Next navigation step Action Handler Next navigation step Action and Parameter Maintenance End of the navigation path (transaction AHTGL01).

    You reach the screen Action Point Actions and Parameters: Display .

  2. Switch to change mode.

  3. Select the action points you created before by using the input help (F4).

  4. In the first table, select one of the actions defined in Customizing using the input help (F4).

    If it is possible to parameterize the action, its parameters are displayed in the second table.

  5. Select a parameter for each parameter value.

  6. Repeat this procedure for further actions.

  7. Save your entries.
