Action Handler Without iPPE You use this process if you do not maintain the master data with iPPE and want the process to be lean.
If you do not work with iPPE, you can only use the automated Action Handler . The manual Action Handler is not available.
You set up the connection between the external production control system and the SAP APO planning system.
You check the standard actions delivered by SAP in Customizing of the Action Handler (transaction /N/SAPAPO/AHC1), and - if these are not sufficient - define your own actions or program further functions.
You create action points in the master data of the Action Handler (transaction AHTGL02) and make sure that the production control system recognizes the chosen spelling for the keys of the action points. You define the predecessor/successor relationship for the action points.
You assign one or several actions to the action points in the master data of the Action Handler and, if necessary, parameterize them (transaction AHTGL01).
You test the automated Action Handler within SAP APO (transaction /N/SAPAPO/AHTS1).
During production operation the system automatically carries out all actions at the corresponding action points.
You check the production tracking information (transaction /N/SAPAPO/TI01) and make sure that the tracking records are archived on a regular basis (transaction SARA).
You check the execution of further actions in the appropriate transactions (for example, sequence schedule, SAPOffice, backflush).
You check whether errors have occurred, correct the errors and trigger the actions again.
