Hiding and Showing Objects When the detailed scheduling planning board is invoked, it shows all objects that you have specified in the planning board profile (see Selection of Objects to be Displayed ). The objects result from the selection that you make on the selection screen and the environment analysis over the work area.
To improve the clarity of the display, you can directly hide one or more objects (resources, products, or orders) within the DS planning board and, if required, subsequently make them visible again.
You can show or hide objects in the selection area or in the menu via the function
or via the context menu. The various options have identical functions. You can hide or show resources and products in the selection area. You can hide or show orders via
only
.
Note
When you invoke the detailed scheduling planning board for the first time, the selection area is shown in the left-hand part of the screen. You can control the display of the selection area via
Settings -> User Settings
and save the setting on a user-specific basis.
The setting you make on the detailed scheduling planning board is independent of the setting in the resource planning table (see Configuring the Resource Planning Table ).
The system continues to take the hidden objects into consideration during interactive planning.
Hidden resources are not availableas alternative resources in manual rescheduling of orders with Drag&Drop .
You can hide resources or products in the selection area either via the context menu or via the
Hide Resource
or
Hide Products
function.
Hidden resources or products are highlighted in white. Shown products or resources are highlighted in yellow.
The display of the objects is synchronized in the selection area and in the charts.
If you hide an object in the selection area, it is no longer displayed in the charts.
If you hide an object in the charts, it is highlighted in white in the selection area.
Individual hidden resources or products can be shown again in the corresponding line in the selection area by double-clicking.
If you wish to switch between shown and hidden objects, choose the
Replace Resources
or
Replace Products
function in the selection area.
In doing so, select the resources or products that are to be shown and choose
Replace Resources.
All selected objects are now shown and all non-selected objects hidden.
This saves you an additional workstep in which you would have to reselect all objects that you wish to hide again and then choose the
Hide Resource
function.
You can show resources or products in the selection area either via the context menu or via the
Show Resource
or
Show Products
function.
When objects are shown again, the system loads the current data from the simulation version.
Note
If you have performed a scheduling action while a resource was hidden, for example, causing an operation to be scheduled on the resource, the current planning situation is displayed when the resource is shown again.
To hide resources, select the line with the resource in the table area of a resource chart, a resource utilization chart, or a fill level chart and choose
To hide products, select the line with the product in the table area of a product chart or a product stock chart and choose
