Procedure

  1. Choose Human resources ® Personnel management ® Personnel development ® Profile ® Change.
  2. The Change Profile screen appears.

  3. Select the object you want. For more information on selecting objects in the Object Manager, refer to Working With the Object Manager.
  4. Select the object you want by double-clicking it.
  5. Note

    Use the object type Person to edit and evaluate an internal applicant’s profile.

  6. If you want to change the profile on a different date than the one proposed, change the key date. For further information, please refer to Evaluation Period and Change Key Date.
  7. Choose the tab page of the subprofile for which you want to enter data.
  8. Choose Create.
  9. A dialog box appears where you can select the entry or entries you require.

    Note

    If you choose the Preferences and Dislikes subprofiles, you will have to work your way through several steps.

  10. Select one or more entries, and choose Continue.
  11. This takes you back to the <Object type>: Change Profile <Data selection period> screen again.

  12. Enter your data as required.
  13. To create notes for an entry in the profile, choose Create Note.
  14. Note

    You can also create notes for the entire subprofile (applies to the Potentials, Preferences, and Dislikes subprofiles. To do this, choose Create Note.

  15. Save your entries.

Result

Entries have been added to the object’s profile.
