Use

You can determine which statistics are to be generated in the monitoring system in the context of the aggregation of the non-SAP R/3 statistical data (Distributed Statistics Records, DSR). There are also various parameters that directly influence the display of individual aggregations. You can deactivate individual aggregates individually, which reduces the runtime of the collector and the memory requirement of the performance database.

Procedure

  1. Start the Global Workload Monitor by calling transaction ST03G.
  2. Expand the Distributed Statistics Records subtree in the Control Data tree.
  3. Choose the Statistics to Be Created entry by double clicking it.
  4. The system displays the Parameters for Statistics Creation screen. In an Structure linkALV Grid Control, the system displays at least one line for each possible parameter with a description of the parameter in the column Comment for a DSR Parameter. Use the other columns to make your changes:

(Consumer Name)

Component type to which the parameter applies (for the time zone, the column remains empty, as this parameter applies globally)

Value and unit of the parameter

Unit

  1. To assign another value to a parameter for a different Consumer, choose Duplicate Row (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text) and make the desired changes there.
  2. To delete a line, choose Delete (This graphic is explained in the accompanying text)
  3. Save your entries.
