Use

You can create an accident report using a generation process. When it is generated, the fields in the accident report template are filled with the relevant data from the SAP System. This means you do not need to fill out the form manually.

As accident reports are reports in the EH&S sense, they are generated using the SAP EH&S report information system. You can access the report information system using the following routes:

Generating from the Incident/Accident Log

  1. From the Industrial Hygiene and Safety menu, choose Accidents ® Edit incident/accident log.

    2. The Edit Incident/Accident Log: Initial Screen appears.

  2. Enter the required search parameters for the incident/accident log entry.
  3. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

    4. A hit list of the incident/accident log entries that match the search parameters appears.

  4. To select the incident/accident log entry you want, double-click the entry.

    5. The Incident/Accident Log: Edit Entry screen appears.

  5. On the Involved tab page, select a person affected by double-clicking the entry for the person. When you do this, the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Details pushbutton may change from the inactive to the active mode.

    6. Note

    If the This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Details pushbutton is already active, you can make your selection by simply selecting the line instead of double-clicking.

  6. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Details.

    7. The Incident/Accident Log: Edit Person-Specific Data screen appears.

  7. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Accident reports.

    8. The Report Tree screen appears. The tree lists all the accident reports that can be generated.

  8. Generate the accident report you want by double-clicking This graphic is explained in the accompanying text .

Generating from the Industrial Hygiene and Safety Initial Screen

  1. In the Industrial Hygiene and Safety menu, choose Reports ® Report information system.

    2. The Report Information System: Initial Screen appears.

  2. In the Report category field, choose ACCREP.
  3. Specify the report language, validity area, and validity date if necessary.
  4. On the configuration tab page, choose the Person affected view. Activate or save your selection.
  5. On the Person affected tab page, enter your search parameters for the accident, for example, I/A log entry or Person.
  6. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

    7. The Report Tree screen appears. The tree lists all the accident reports that can be generated.

  7. Generate the accident report you want by double-clicking This graphic is explained in the accompanying text .

Result

This starts Windows Wordprocessor Integration (WWI) and displays the accident report you selected. This completes the generation process.

You can print out the accident report by choosing Report ® Print or ship it using a Structure linkreport shipping order.

Caution

In the printout, the field for the recipient of the accident report is not filled. The system does not enter the recipient until you ship the report.
