If you need to replace a certain target text string with a new target text string (for example, during terminology cleanups), you can find and replace these target text strings quickly and easily from a list of entries in the proposal pool (for example, a semantic worklist in Proposal Pool Administration).
.The dialog box Enter Texts for Replacement appears.
In this field, you can enter the source text for which you wish to replace the existing translation. This input is optional, but will help to restrict your search.
In this field, you need to enter the old, "incorrect" translation that you wish to replace.
In this field, you can enter the new translation with which you wish to replace the old string. This input is also optional. You can also choose to replace occurrence of the Old target text individually.
If you activate this option, then the system only finds texts where capitalization is exactly how you specified in the Old target text field. Otherwise, the search does not consider capitalization.
If you activate this option, then the system also finds texts where the Old target text is part of a larger word. For example, if you specify Auftrag as your Old target text (without activating the Case-sensitive option), the system also finds texts such as Auftragsnummer and Transportauftrag.
A dialog box appears containing the first proposal pool entry in which the old target text string occurs.

If you try to replace target texts for proposal entries that are locked, flagged for automatic distribution, or that have length variants, a warning appears. You cannot modify the target text in this dialog box. You can, however, choose Maintain to branch to the proposal pool and make your corrections there.
