You can use the Where-Used List to search for the following object types:
- User Interfaces
- Screen Painter Texts
- Screen Painter Headers
- Data elements
- Domains
- Fixed Values for Domains
- Messages.
There are three different search options available:
- Monolingual
This search finds all objects that use a source text identical to the one you are searching for, regardless of how the text has been translated.
- Bilingual (source and same target)
This search finds all objects that use a source and target text identical to the ones you are searching for. For example, all objects where Vorgang has been translated as Operation.
- Bilingual (source and different target)
This search finds all objects that use a source text identical to the one you are searching for, and a target text that is different to the one you specify. For example, all objects where Vorgang has been has been used, except when it has been translated as Operation.
- The system displays the where-used list in a separate session in the form of a worklist. The objects can be edited directly from this worklist.
- You can display the status of all of the objects in the worklist by choosing Calculate translation status.
