Moving Objects Using Drag & Drop
If you want to move organizational units, positions or holders (employees/persons or users) within your area of responsibility, do the following:
If at least one of the selected objects can be related with the new superior object, the Move to... dialog box appears.
The new allocation and superior object appear in the tree structure.

If you previously selected Settings ® Move with Additional Information, the new allocation is displayed in a dialog box with a green traffic light. This shows that the object may be moved.

If you choose an assignment that is not allowed, or a start date which is not valid for the source object you have selected, a dialog box will appear telling you that not all objects can be moved. You can display details or cancel the operation.
If you choose to display details, another dialog box will appear showing the source objects and different colored traffic lights.
All objects with yellow or red traffic lights have a pushbutton with an info-icon beside them. If you click on the icon, a message appears telling you why the object cannot be moved. The objects with green traffic lights have check boxes, so that you can exempt them from the moving procedure if required.
