Use

You use this function to cancel a Structure link material document that you created from one or more entry documents by using the post or clear function to post or clear the waste quantities in the entry documents to Structure link inventory management and, if required, to Structure link Warehouse Management.

Caution

You always cancel the entire material document. If you execute the post or clear function for several selected entry documents containing the same plant and the same storage location, only one material document is created. This material document is canceled completely if you cancel the material document for only one of the selected entry documents.

Prerequisites

The entry documents for which you want to cancel the material documents created have been posted or cleared.

Note

You can cancel a changed posting or Structure link storage bin transfer simply by executing another changed posting or stock transfer and entering the original data (storage location, plant for the storage location, and storage bin if required).

Activities

Proceed as follows if you want to cancel the material documents created for one or more entry documents:

  1. In the Waste Management menu, choose Disposal processing ® Display.

The Choose Entry Document Category dialog box appears.

Note

This dialog box only appears the first time that you access disposal processing after you have logged on to the SAP System. The next time you access disposal processing, the system automatically uses the entry document category that you chose last time.

Note

If you mainly display and edit entry documents of one entry document category, you can predefine this entry document category in your user profile.

  1. Choose the entry document category of the entry documents whose material documents you want to cancel and confirm your entry.

The Disposal Processing Display screen appears.

  1. Enter the search criteria for the entry documents (see Searching for Entry Documents), and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text and This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  2. The Disposal Processing Change screen appears.

    Note

    Entry documents that have been cleared are assigned the system status CLSD (Closed). When you search for entry documents, entry documents with the system status CLSD are not displayed as standard in the search result. Set the Completed indicator under This graphic is explained in the accompanying text in the Choose screen area so that closed entry documents are also displayed in the search result. Alternatively, under This graphic is explained in the accompanying text you can enter I0046 as a search criterion in the Entry doc. status field. The search result then only contains closed entry documents.

  3. Select the entry documents and choose Edit ® Cancel material document.
