Integration

Use of the architectural view is optional.

Use

In the architectural view a rental object can consist of:

You can create a rental object with time-dependence (start and end date). The period is automatically inherited from the higher-level object (for instance a building or property). If you want to enter another period for the rental object (for instance, a rental unit with time limitation inside a building without time limitation), you can enter these dates in the General Data tab under Validity Period.

Structure

1st Level

When you are in the rental object processing application, first decide which type of rental object you wish to create (Function This graphic is explained in the accompanying text with Quick Info Create):

  1. Rental unit (such as an apartment)
  2. Pooled space
  3. Rental space (such as storage or advertising space) which is subject to frequent change

In the latter case you first have to create a pooled space, but you cannot rent this pooled space in its entirety. It serves merely as a source of supply for carving rental spaces from it.

NoteIt is recommended to create a rental object as a flexible rental space and not as a rigid rental unit if it is likely to be subject to frequent change. Its processing is simplified by the existence of the higher-level pooled space.

Example

ExamplePossible links between a rental object and an architectural object. A rental space can only be linked with the architecture by means of the higher-level pooled space.

Assignment to Contract

The contract assignment of rental objects remains intact, regardless of whether a corresponding architectural structure exists or not.
