Before you begin working in the FI-SL System, you will need to create sets. Sets are used in many of the FI-SL components (for example, planning, allocations, rollups, reporting, and so on). You use sets to group together data and to define data hierarchies. Under a set name, you can store specific values or ranges of values. Since sets are centrally maintained, you can use the same set in more than one FI-SL function. You can find more information on creating sets under Set Creation.
