Sampling Procedure with Sampling Scheme
The sampling procedures in the R/3 System involve complex processes and relationships. This example describes some of the entries you can make in a sampling procedure.
Scenario
You plan the sample sizes for a goods issue inspection. You want the system to calculate the sample size for a characteristic on the basis of the inspection lot quantity. To do this, you use a sampling procedure with a sampling scheme. You do not want the system to change the inspection stage.
Assignments
You choose Use sampling scheme as the sampling type and a valuation mode for a variable inspection. Since you do not want to release the sampling procedure at this stage, you set the indicator No use in insp.plan. Choose Continue.
Special Indicator
You specify the sampling scheme you want to use in the sampling procedure and you set the indicator No stage change. This indicator suppresses an inspection stage change, even if a dynamic modification rule is specified in the inspection plan.
Multiple Samples
You set the indicator No multiple samples. This means that the system processes a single sample.
Additional Data for the Sampling Scheme
You choose Additional data and enter an inspection severity and AQL value as specified in the sampling scheme.
