Configuring SAPDBA 

You can configure SAPDBA by setting the environment variables in a corresponding fashion, changing the default initialization profile or defining a new one.

Name of the default initialization profile:
 OS> <ORACLE_HOME>/dbs/init<DBSID>.dba

An overview of profile parameters and their default values and uses is listed under Initialization Profile init<DBSID>.dba . Changes to profile parameters become active when you start SAPDBA.
