You can configure the SAPDBA program to suit your own needs. The parameters and how they are used are described in the following. (default directory <ORACLE_HOME>/dbs , operating system-specific). You can edit the file <ORACLE_HOME>/dbs/init<DBSID>.dba with the appropriate system editor. In some situations, SAPDBA starts the programs BRBACKUP, BRARCHIVE or BRRESTORE. You also have to configure these programs. If this initialization profile does not exist, SAPDBA uses its own internal settings.
