Statistical Postings

Use

This function allows you to update postings in other components, which are not to consume budget in Funds Management, statistically only in Funds Management. There is no availability control for statistical postings, the budget is not used by the postings.

Prerequisites

Note that posting items can only be update statistically if a commitment item is posted with the Financial Transaction 30.

You make the necessary settings in the Customizing of Funds Management by choosing Actual and Commitment Update/Integration ® Integration ® Inventory Management Integration ® Select Transaction Types

Overriding the valid update profile per value type

You make the necessary settings in the Funds Management IMG by choosing Actual and Commitments Update / Integration ® General Settings ® Override Update Profile.

By flagging a document (e.g. a funds commitment) on entry as statistical.

If the system cannot determine a funds center for a statistical posting, in accordance with the Account Assignment Logic in Funds Management then the top funds center is automatically posted.
