Payroll for Employees in Retail Stores 

Purpose

A valuation of wage and salary earners can be performed either on the basis of time evaluation with SAP CAMPBELL Time & Attendance, or with SAP HR. Payroll is run in every SAP CAMPBELL integration scenario in SAP HR.

Depending on the individual business situation, you can transfer attendances (infotype 2002) or wage types, absences (infotype 2001) and remuneration information (infotype 2010) to a central payroll system. If there is a valid collective bargaining agreement or works agreement, you can also transfer work schedules.

Depending on the business situation, you will have created time wage types in one of the following ways:

Process Flow

  1. In a payroll scenario, you read master data from Personnel Administration (such as basic pay information, for example).
  2. You enter time wage types from the time evaluation results, as well as remuneration information, in Payroll, and take work schedules into account when determining the results of payroll.

Technical Background

Attendance hours generated in a payroll scenario from time evaluation in SAP CAMPBELL are categorized according to wage types, (such as standard working time, and overtime), but are not technically regarded as wage types. The data is displayed in SAP HR as attendance records with different attendance types. Wage types are actually generated in Payroll, which transforms attendance types into wage types.
