Receive ProductsLocate this document in the navigation structure

With the transactional app Receive Products you can receive products in stores via handling units, outbound or inbound deliveries, or purchase orders. The app allows you to see the content of these documents, with the expected and actually received product quantities. You can see hierarchical handling units, as well as detailed product information with pictures.

The app can be started in trusted mode, in which the document will be posted immediately. The decision to post immediately or not (depending on the vendor, for example) can be controlled by an extension. By default, only handling units and outbound and inbound deliveries are posted immediately. Documents that require checking and processing on detail (item) level can also be handled if you start the app in trusted mode. You use the regular mode when trusted receiving is not an option at all in your business. All features of regular mode are available in trusted mode; they are simply different modes of the same app.

For more information about use cases, see User Information: Receive Products.

Key Features
  • Start processing by scanning or entering an ID or using the filter

  • Work on documents that contain the most up-to-date information: handling units if delivery items are packed, delivery items if required by Confirmation Control Key, or for purchase order items when none of previous conditions apply

  • Post goods receipt for handling units and inbound or outbound deliveries as a whole in trusted mode (default)

  • Post goods receipt for any document as a whole in trusted mode based on the result of a back-end extension that implements the customer's own rules (trusted vendors)

  • Check received goods on item level, and post after checking last item in product list view when working with quantity proposals

  • Post goods receipt of checked quantities at any time when working without quantity proposals

  • Post multiple documents at once in trusted mode via the selection button

For more information about further key features, technical features and options, see User Information: Receive Products.
