Look Up Retail ProductsLocate this document in the navigation structure

With the transactional app Look Up Retail Products you can get real-time information about products and their availability in your store. The app allows you to see detailed information about a product, as well as stock levels for the product in your store and in stores nearby.

  • Find any product by entering a description, product ID or GTIN in the search field
  • Access real-time product, promotion, and stock information
  • See different sizes, styles, or colors for a product
  • See product availability in nearby stores
Key Features Available on Mobile Devices

If you run the app on a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet, the following feature is also available:

  • Use camera on mobile device to scan product barcodes
    Note

    This feature only works when you implement the app on an SAP Fiori client.

Navigation Targets

This app enables users to access other apps directly (for example to display detailed information).

Note

Linked apps have to be already available in your system landscape or you have to implement them along with this app.

  • Adjust Stock

    Count products in your store’s inventory and make adjustments to account for discrepancies such as product shrinkage.

  • Transfer Stock

    Transfer merchandise from one store to another.

  • Order Products

    Order products individually by entering an order quantity, or by accepting standing system-proposed quantities.

In addition, the app provides a link to support the following technical feature and option:

  • Label Printing

    Print labels for scanned or searched products.

System Landscape Requirements

In order to be able to implement this app, your system landscape has to be enabled for SAP Fiori. One of the requirements for your system landscape is that your back-end product meets the required product version stack:
