In Carrier Type Maintenance, you define the layout of the carriers and validation points (see Carrier Type Maintenance).

In POD Maintenance, you create a POD button and assign the Create Carrier (CREATE_CARRIER) activity to a panel of the Operation Touch POD (see Create Carrier and Adding POD Button Activities to Your PODs).

In Shop Order Maintenance, you create a Production shop order (see Shop Order Maintenance).

In Shop Order Release, you release the shop order to create SFC numbers that you can add to the carrier in the Create Carrier POD plug-in (see Shop Order Release).
