You can create a shipment plan in two ways:
Based on a trip schedule, and dependent on the transportation planning point, vehicles are assigned to a driver .
Independent of the driver-vehicle assignment. To do this, you must deactivate the driver-vehicle assignment in Customizing for the
Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream)
.To make this setting, choose
.
You determine the transportation planning point.
In Customizing, if you have set the indictor that requires you to make a driver-vehicle assignment, you determine the:
Planning date
Driver shift
Driver
Shipment status
For the shipment status, the system defaults the maximum value from Customizing for the
Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream)
.You can maintain this default value by choosing
.
In Customizing, if you have deselected the indicator that requires you to make a driver-vehicle assignment, the selection screen contains the following fields. You can enter data as a range in these fields:
Planning date
Driver shift
Vehicle number
Shipment number
Plant
Shipment type
Carrier
Driver number
Shipment status
If there are shipments that correspond to the selection criteria, the system proposes these shipments for the shipment plan.
If there are no shipments that correspond to the selection criteria, you can create new shipments or import existing shipments.
To optimize the shipments so they reflect the shift schedule, you can change the sequence of the shipments.
You have the following processing options :
Assign delivery notes to shipments
Exchange delivery notes between shipments
Delete delivery notes from shipments
Change the sequence of delivery notes within a shipment.
You generate shipment planning. The shipment plan is now saved and all changes you made are activated.
The system creates a status log of all changes that were successfully generated and of all planned changes. There is a checkmark beside changes that have been generated.
