Trip Planning Processing

Use

This function allows you to process and create trip planning.

Features

The following processing options are available:

  • Create and insert a new shipment (based on the shipment type entered)

  • Delete an existing shipment

  • Save and activate all planned changes

  • Print shipment planning information

You can print either the current content of the planning screen, or, after successfully generating them, the current shipments for the corresponding driver. SAPscript is used for printing.

    Note Note

Form OIK_SHPPL_LOG contains, among other things, a footer that you can fill with your company data (using the TPI_FOOTER standard text).

    End of the note.
  • Check shipment planning when the driver-vehicle assignment is active:

    • Driver-vehicle assignment

    • Driver times (maximum working time, travel time, shift length)

    • Open receipt times at the ship-to party location

    • Transportation planning point for vehicle

  • Display all warnings that occurred during a check in a message log. This can include compatibility problems or time limits for delivering to the ship-to party and problems with travel times and shift times with respect to the driver. Inconsistencies concerning the driver-vehicle assignment of existing shipments are also displayed.

  • Calculate the travel times, non-travel times, estimated times of arrival, and distances (see also SAP Enhancements OIKSHPPL and OIKSHPSV ).

  • Reset the last change up to the point of generation

  • Remove a shipment from the planning process (not deleted from the system).

  • Include an existing shipment in the planning process

  • Insert a delivery in a shipment

  • Remove a delivery from a shipment

  • Transfer a delivery from one shipment to another

  • Vehicle change (by overwriting with a new vehicle)

If you make changes to a vehicle in an existing trip plan, the system checks if the compartments in the new vehicle are the same as those in the old vehicle. If there are no differences between the old vehicle and the new vehicle, the system copies the compartment planning from the old vehicle to the new vehicle. If there are differences between the old vehicle and the new vehicle, you can carry out compartment planning manually.

For the system to automatically copy the compartment planning, the Adopt compartment allocation indicator must be set in Customizing for Industry Solution Oil & Gas (Downstream) . You make this setting under Start of the navigation path TD (Transportation and Distribution) Next navigation step TD Bulk Shipment Next navigation step Define bulk shipment type End of the navigation path .

  • Update the display of shipment data

  • Call master records or documents (detail view)

  • Change data representation of shipment data to shipment level

  • Change data representation of shipment data to delivery note level

  • Display all planned changes and changes that were successfully activated during the current shipment planning process. Activated changes are indicated with a checkmark.

  • Display the changes you have made to a shipment (report ROIGCHGD ).

  • Call up and edit compartment planning for the shipment.

  • Call up and edit the stages of the shipment.
