Monitoring Synchronization Runs On the tab page
Monitor
in the
Synchronization
work area, the synchronization cockpit enables you to monitor the progress made with processing synchronization runs that have been started, and their statuses. In this way you always have a detailed overview of all synchronization runs.
The synchronization cockpit displays all the synchronization runs that have been carried out, along with how far their processing has progressed and their statuses, in a list in the group box
Synchronization Runs.
You receive, for example, information about the synchronization scope, or whether a synchronization run was carried out in the background or as a test run.
After a synchronization run has been selected, additional information about the settings that you defined during the
preparation
of the synchronization run is displayed in the
Associated Selection Criteria
group box. This function is however available only for synchronization runs that were not started as test runs.
You also have the following possibilities for monitoring synchronization runs:
Filtering synchronization runs
Updating lists of synchronization runs
You should always update the list if you have generated a new synchronization run from the postprocessing, since the list is otherwise not complete.
Calling up postprocessing for incorrect synchronization runs.
Starting queue processing
In connection with background processing, it can be the case that synchronization processes cannot be started successfully because problems occur during queue processing. You can call the queue monitor, or register and activate queues, if necessary, in order to check which situation exists.
